We’re transporting you to the beautiful Amalfi Coast today for Sam and Hannah’s breathtaking destination wedding, which features our bride Hannah wearing a stunning bespoke Suzanne Neville dress from Miss Bush.
The Dress
Hannah’s dress was a beautiful bespoke gown created by Suzanne Neville, a figure hugging silhouette with a wide off the shoulder neckline, deep V back and a gently flared skirt, all finished off with a stunning sparkly belt.
Hannah says;
“I had was lucky enough to have a bespoke Suzanne Neville Dress. I sent an email with pictures to Emma as to what my vision was and she totally got it. Emma merged 2 dress into one. It was perfect. If I am honest it was not what I had imagine me ever picking, I was wanting so much bling it was untrue but the dress had not one crystal on it. I tried on so many bling dresses but they were just not up to the standard I was looking for.”
“I brought my sister and my mum to the initial brainstorming of the dress with the sketch from Emma. I was so excited as Emma got my vision. I went into the changing room and came out wearing both of the dresses Emma had picked to work together to get the look. My Mum and Sister’s reaction both said ‘O that is it’ and breathed a sigh of relief. I had dragged them to a fair share of wedding shops.”
“My Mum came to all of the fittings and her smile would get bigger every time as seeing the dress being made step by step was very special. It was on the 2nd fitting I had my sister’s veil and that is when My Mum said ‘Oh yes that is it.’
“At Miss Bush they just got me. I am not very good at explaining myself but I felt Emma just read what I was looking for. I had two appointments at Miss Bush my first I will never forget. I had such fun, trying on dress after dress all covered in the most bling ever, accessorised to the max as I love my accessories and a lot of shops try and put you off accessories and bling. I came out in 2 dresses at once and we even tried to get a 3rd on but it wasn’t meant to be. I returned to Miss Bush with my vision after a number of visits to numerous shops, it was Miss Bush that just gets it and totally makes you feel anything is possible and in turn takes that stress away from you.”
Hannah accessorised her dress with a diamond tiara with matching necklace, earring’s and bracelet all from Ivory and co. The look was finished with a glittering swarovski belt, with a sparkly brooch bouquet from Amanda Francomb.
About the Day
Hannah and Sam were married in Positano, on the Amalfi Coast. It was a really special day for the couple and their family and friends, as Hannah explains below;
“The Wedding for both of us was very much about our family and friends being united. Italy for Sam and I holds a special place in our hearts, as when younger it was the destination of choice for family holidays. Amalfi Coast in particular for me, as this was not only my wish to be married here when I visited it with my girlfriends back in 2008. It was also my father’s wish for me to get married in Positano. My Father passed away from stomach cancer 24th January 2012 and this was very much a Fifield’s Family holiday destination of choice.”
“I am sure everyone says the speeches were their favourite part of the day, and I too am going to say speeches. As Sam and I have been together for so long the whole room had seen our relationship go through good times and bad times. The speeches reflected genuinely how happy people were that we had finally tied the knot and loved us as a couple. The icing on the cake was the end of Sam’s speech he wrote a poem informing our family and friends that we were having a baby as I was 15 week pregnant. The crying started all over again!”
Final Words
Some words of advice from our bride, Hannah;
“I think my advice for new brides on picking their dream dress is to try on every style, as the dream dress that you have being thinking about since you were a little girl may not be the style that suits you now. Wedding planning and the wedding day needs to have input from both bride and groom. This will come across to all your guests that the day is for both of you and how you both respect each others wishes.”
