We’re delighted to share Miss Bush bride Nadine’s wedding photos with you today, featuring the beautiful Jesus Peiro 6017 wedding dress.
Nadine and Jules were married in April this year at Tithe Barn in Ditcham, Hampshire, and was photographed by family friend, Capturing the Detail.
The Dress
Nadine chose to wear Jesus Peiro 6017, made from beautiful Cotton Pique fabric. With a simple round neck, and crisp structured full skirt, this stunning contemporary gown is finished with a huge statement bow and crossover straps at the back.
Nadine says;
“I really hadn’t enjoyed the process of dress shopping initially which is why I decided to go to Miss Bush on my own. I had been fooled by Pinterest and so every dress I thought would be ‘the one’ just didn’t look like it had in the pictures I had seen. Emma was fantastic and encouraged me to try on so many different dresses, many of which I would never have thought to try. She pushed me out of my comfort zone of trying the same style on that I had done so many times already and showed me how I could find a dress that suited me and my shape. So many people during and ever since the wedding have said how much they loved the unique style of the dress and how well it suited me.”
“Once I had chosen ‘the one’ brought my two sisters along to the next visit soon after. As they had been to so many appointments with me already, when I appeared in the gown and Emma put a veil on me, my sisters were pretty gobsmacked. My eldest sister shed a few tears!”
In fitting with the clean simplicity of the dress, Nadine accessorised her look with a delicate pearl headband and cathedral length veil, opting to keep her make up and hair natural and pretty with a loose braided up do.
About the Day
Nadine and Jules’ wedding was filled with lots of natural textures and a neutral colour palette, resulting in a classically pretty, elegant day.
Nadine tells us about her vision;
“I was inspired by the countryside, but I also wanted the decoration to be modern. I liked the ideas of mixing feminine floral decor with metallic accessories. Our flowers were white, light pink and grey and the venue was decorated with copper and silver lanterns The venue was a barn but it was stone and church-like inside so it created a very clean and fresh environment with pops of colour and shiny metal features.”
“My favourite part of the day arriving at the venue to find it decorated exactly as I had hoped and seeing the faces of all our wonderful friends and family…and of course the groom himself!”
Suppliers
Nadine and Jules’ wedding was very much a family/friends affair filled with personal touches; their gorgeous naked wedding cake was created by the Mother of the Groom, the Father of the Groom married them and the grooms brother was in the band.
