Our moodboard today features lush tropical botanical wedding inspiration, an elegant, contemporary theme filled with rich greenery and chic, creative styling for a simple but very effective look.
With luscious leafy greens replacing floral arrangements throughout, this is an incredibly stylish look that is very easy to recreate. Huge Monstera Deliciousa (or Swiss Cheese plant) leaves are perfect for creating a dramatic wedding ceremony arch, and a single leafy sprig makes for a simple but stylish hair accessory. This look lends itself so well to a black tie event, without feeling too stuffy or traditional. The colour palette of mixed natural greens and soft whites is calming, classic and beautiful.
We’ve added a Sottero and Midgley dress into the mix, which we think would be the perfect choice for this style of wedding. The ‘Bexley’ gown is a lace sheath wedding dress with spaghetti straps and V-neckline, adorned with delicate opal beads in an intricate contemporary design, with illusion halter neck back. The exquisite detailing on this dress is just phenomenal, so the gown doesn’t need much in the way of accessories, making it perfect for an effortlessly stylish, modern wedding.
