Our Jane Austen wedding inspiration moodboard today was inspired by one of our brilliant models from our Brides Reader Event at No.4 Hamilton Place last Thursday. After viewing her portfolio we had originally earmarked Chloe (The winner of this years Britain’s Next Top Model!) as an alternative rock chick with a hint of nineties grunge. When she turned up however, we found that her look was also the perfect fit for an elegant and refined Jane Austen heroine!
This look is demure, elegant and romantic, featuring delicate lace, long sleeves and billowing skirts. We’ve chosen Jesus Peiro 7062 for this board, which is a Cotton tulle and lace wedding gown with full-length long sleeves and floaty skirt finished with an adorable tiny bow at the waist. It’s a super pretty, delicate gown which would be perfect for any Austen-esque bride.
For a touch of Lizzie Bennet wildness, we’ve added some sturdy walking boots to this board. Stunning floral arches and fresh flowers are the main focus when it comes to decorations, with dried wildflower cones for scattering outside the church. Just add one breathtaking stately home!
