This week we’re celebrating one of our new dress arrivals with a glamorous white feather wedding inspiration moodboard.
The inspiration behind this board was the ‘Naomi’ wedding dress by Atelier Pronovias, a feminine and pretty mermaid wedding dress in crepe and organza, with feather and gemstone embroidered shoulders, and an elegant slit skirt.
It might be the obvious choice to head in more of a dreamy beachy boho direction with feathers as wedding decor, however this look just doesn’t fit with the elegant Naomi gown, so our moodboard looks to high end fashion and couture catwalks for inspiration instead. Shoulders, sleeves and hems, textured layers, statement footwear and sparkling hair accessories are all a great way to incorporate feathers into your look.
Alternatively you could opt for an incredible showstopper of a cake as seen on this board!
On a spiritual note, feathers represent positivity and love, and are also a symbol of loved ones that are no longer with us, so the addition of even a small feather in the form of a simple pair of studs or bracelet can add sentimental meaning to your wedding outfit.
