After a small hiatus whilst our focus was elsewhere (see our new project, Luxe Bride!) my Monday Mooboard series is now back! Today I’m offering you a dose of First Lady Chic Wedding Inspiration. Regular readers may remember that I’ve covered this theme before! Each year there are always a selection of dresses from Jesus Peiro that are perfect for this look, so I just had to create an updated version with a different dress!
Neat, sharp, boat necks and crisp fabrics were the go-to choices of Jackie Kennedy and latterly Michelle Obama. Understated, elegant dresses with ease of movement, yet smart enough for an aisle or Air Force One, can be seen influencing several dresses in the latest Jesus Peiro collection.
First among equals is style 8005 featuring a new fabric for 2018; antique white Cobra Taffeta. The neat tulip skirt, inverted pleats and daring sheer sides create a quietly fabulous gown.
We’ve completed this look with a mid-heel court with platform by Harriet Wilde, with a sleek and stylish Jimmy Choo clutch, topped with a smart Maggie Mowbray pillbox hat a-la Jackie K.
