Miss Bush Valentine's Shoot Part I

Happy Valentine’s Day! Last week we brought a team of amazing suppliers together to create the Miss Bush take on Valentine’s Day with 5 different looks featuring gorgeous eclectic gowns, catwalk inspired hair and beauty and luscious florals paired with cool, fun and quirky high street footwear and accessories. The first look was soft, romantic and wistful, featuring an exclusive gown from Jesus Peiro, which we teamed with beautiful natural curls and pretty pink make-up with glossy pink lids for a chic, contemporary edge. The bouquet was an explosion of stunning roses, ranunculus and anemones framed with delicate ferns and eucalyptus.

This hand painted pink denim jacket from ASOS is the perfect finish for a cute Valentine’s outfit – we love it!

The second look featured Bentley by Houghton – a strapless sleeveless gown in open basketweave lace, with tiered layered skirt and structured corset. This quirky look features a Dior inspired hairstyle piled high with beautiful blooms in rich deep reds and pinks. A deep red lip completes the look, along with a vibrant tulip and eucalyptus bouquet finished with a striped ribbon.

The chapel exterior looked beautifully romantic, decked in a stunning eucalyptus, fern and rose floral arch. Florist Rosie tells us more about the flowers used throughout the shoot;

“If you would like to recreate any of these looks for your wedding, the flowers used in the soft romantic rose bouquet were garden roses in Caffe Latte and Maria Theresa varieties with vuvuzela and cerise vuvuzela. The fun red bouquet had seasonal spring flowers with anemones, ranunculus and tulips in Ronaldo and Ile de France varieties.”

The next gown is Cassidee by Houghton, a fabulous strapless empire waist gown with full cascading high-low hemmed skirt and romantic ruffles. A total showstopper – perfect for showing off a pair of gorgeous statement shoes!⠀
