Sometimes I write a lot on my blog posts. Sometimes there is a tangent I am keen to explore. In this case my questionable literary skills are scarcely needed as I bask in the praise being heaped on Miss Bush by Jo. Jo is wearing Maggie Sottero’s Presca with a custom jacket based on Suzanne Neville’s Hepburn. Janet, our in-house genius, took inspiration from the over-top. In case you think this is a case of piracy know that Suzanne won’t make jackets without a dress order. I would also question the commercial wisdom of dismantling the matching lace veil to the Presca dress, cutting a jacket pattern and piecing together border lace to create fabric.
I will pass the mantle to Jo
“I couldn’t not email and tell you how much I loved my dress. It all started when Emma helped me pick out the dress which suited my figure. Then we move onto the lovely Jen and Janet who measured up and made my little jacket which looked part of the dress but which I took off in the evening. I had so many people comment on how beautiful they thought it was. I also wanted to thank you all for your help and support over what can be a stressful time in choosing such a special item of clothing. I came to Miss Bush at the end of a rather stressful Saturday having been treated in so cases quite rudely and you were amazing. Emma helped to find just the right dress and gave me the help I so desperately wanted, instead of giving no opinion which other shops did. I was treated so well every time I came for fittings with Jen and then couldn’t believe how clever Janet was in recreating a Hepburn jacket using the lace from the veil which came with the dress but which we didn’t use.” “I have attached a few pictures I thought you might like to see. THANK YOU all for helping to make my big day such a special one.”
Shucks…
