Emma visited Barcelona last month to view the latest offerings from some of Europes most brilliant bridal designers. This years collection from Jesus Peiro is named ‘Mirtilli’, the Italian name for Blueberries; a fitting name for this collection, which is inspired by all things sweet; confectionery, pastries, and sugar coated candy.
Designer Merche Segarra has yet again created a breathtaking collection of dresses, which vary from crisp, structured, minimalist gowns and chic, stylish fashionista-worthy separates to voluminous skirted dramatic showstoppers and feminine A-line gowns finished with intricate, elegant lace.
Look to the back of the gowns and you’ll see that many of them have show stopping backs, finished with intricate lace, elegant swooping cowls, deep plunging Vs and the sweetest ballerina style criss-cross straps.
A sprinkling of sparkle can also be seen throughout this collection, with glittering embellishments and sugar coated fabrics adding interest and texture to each gown. From big and voluminous to delicate and structured, beautiful bows adorn throughout, adding the perfect finishing touch.
