Last summer we welcomed a brand new designer, Sassi Holford, to the Miss Bush chapel. To celebrate, we held a wonderful launch party at The Chapel (you can see the photos here!) along with a beautiful English Rose Sassi Holford Styled Shoot featuring some of our favourite Surrey wedding suppliers.
Featuring three gorgeous gowns from our Sassi Holford collection, the shoot was full of pretty, romantic details inspired by the classic and pretty English Rose.
The first look featured the ‘Emma’ gown; an elegant, contemporary gown with crisp lines, structured skirt and simple fabric making it the perfect choice for the modern bride.
The dress features a low dipped back with covered fabric buttons, and we added the optional structured cropped jacket, which features a stylish wide scooped neck and open back.
Our wonderful hair stylist Sharon came up with fun and creative ‘double bun’, with tons of texture and interest, finished with a stunning floral headpiece combining fresh flowers and intricate jewel encrusted hair accessories.
Make up artist Carolanne created the most beautifully natural subtle make up looks for each of our models. With dewy complexions, the softest sweep of blush, subtle eye make up and rosy pink lips, this look was created to enhance and complement the natural features of our models.
Our second model wore a feminine and pretty hair style created by Sharon, with delicate hair accessories woven into an intricate braided up do.
Florist Rosie created two very different bouquets for each model; the first featuring an explosion of bold bright pink, deep fuchsia, blush and baby pinks, whilst the second was a paler, softer arrangement, with pastel pinks, creamy off white, delicate lilac and a spray of frosty green foliage.
The second look of the day featured ‘Georgia’ by Sassi Holford, a beautiful gown with sweetheart neckline and floaty A-line skirt.
The patterned ribbon detail on the skirt adds interest and texture to this stunning gown.
The chapel was adorned with an abundance of beautiful blooms by Rosie, making it the perfect backdrop for the incredible Sassi Holford gowns.
The final look utilised the signature Sassi Holford gown, ‘Marilyn’. With a stuning rose printed base, soft organza overlay and shoulder detailing this gown was the inspiration for our ‘English Rose’ theme and couldn’t be more perfect for this look!
