Suzanne cuts the finest dresses across a spectrum of styles; the crepe, horseshoe neck & fluid lines of the Silhouette dress, worn by Danielle, make it one of the secret treasures in her collection. A regular go-to designer for stylists for a raft of household names from TV & films to sport, Suzanne’s genius is as evident in understatement as it is in a billowing dress.
For London-based brides, with family in Surrey, Miss Bush has long been a destination retailer. I can’t pretend to know what all brides want but for my entire career at Miss Bush the A3, from Clapham to Ripley, must have been worn away by the SW girls making the journey. Only today have I used Danielle’s photos to demonstrate what Silhouette looks like at a wedding. It isn’t on Suzanne’s website, it’s a bit of a secret. Danielle speaks fluent fashion, her second dress for the evening reception was McQueen. Her shoes are Choos. Marlon, her husband, is in menswear. It delights me to be able to dress brides like Danielle that love to make a statement with their dress & that statement is individuality.
The steps of Chelsea Registry Office – just legendary. THE rock star location in the middle of The Kings Road has hosted the weddings of stars both real & fictional. It just oozes coolness & style.
Unsurprisingly there is a lot of kissing in these photos, Marlon & Danielle are rather easy on the eye! That coupled with iconic London landmarks make Eddie Judd’s photos a city love story, full of glamour & gorgeousness. I will continue to use this wedding to reference all sorts of chic fabulousness & a benchmark for understated urban elegance.
