Welcome to the very first ‘Real Bride’ post of 2016! We’re delighted to share some images from bride Charlotte’s wedding with you today, featuring her stunning gown from Maggie Sottero. ‘Breanna’ is a figure hugging sheath dress featuring all over intricate lace and a stunning keyhole back. We think you’ll agree that Charlotte looked stunning in this gown, finishing it off with an elegant up-do and simple natural make up for a bridal look that is both stylish and timeless.
After a romantic beach proposal in February, Charlotte and Nic were married in July last year at beautiful Great Fosters, a Grade I listed 16th-century mansion adjacent to the town of Egham, Surrey.
The Dress
Charlotte took her mum with her for her first visit to Miss Bush, and after trying on Breanna first she instantly knew it was ‘the one’.
“My mum and I thought we should just try a few more on to make sure and after getting back into the Breanna dress again, both of us were so excited as we knew this dress was the ‘one’. It was was very special having my mum there as she also had the same feeling.
I took my sister and my twin nieces the following week to show them my special choice and they were over whelmed and loved it!
The whole experience was filled with lots of laughter and happy emotions which made it very special. I knew once I tried the first dress on that this would be the dress I would be wearing on my wedding day. Not only was the dress beautiful but I also felt beautiful in it and it was so comfortable to.”
Charlotte accessorised her look with a simple up-do, finalised with some tiny flowers and small sparkle hair grips.
About the Day
Great Fosters provided the ideal setting for Charlotte and Nic’s wedding, offering the romantic intimate and relaxed atmosphere that they had hoped to achieve.
“Every part of our special day was just so magical in every way and far exceeded our expectations. Having all our friends and family together from all over the world to share this day with us all together made our day just perfect.”
Final Words
Some parting words of wisdom from Charlotte for future brides-to-be;
“I found the wedding magazines very helpful when it came to my dress for ideas and styles. Also looking at all the different colours and wedding ideas for the day was very inspiring. Once we had a few thoughts, the internet was great to find suppliers near by and all the lovely different venues.
Take your time, you will know when you have both found the right venue and dress.”
