On two occasions this year I am moving to the ‘other’ side of weddings that I know nothing about. I am a guest. It has to be about 20 years since I did my mandatory 3 year period where your entire life is filled with hen weekends & weddings. In a matter of months I shall be a guest twice. The first is next week at the blessing of Yumie & Jeff nuptials.
Yumie is the only member of the embryonic Japanese Miss Bush fan club. Jeff is my brother’s bestie. Organising the wedding remotely from Japan, Yumie has used the Miss Bush blog & Facebook page to source her suppliers. Not only am I going to be a guest I am going to experience the work of Fairynuff Flowers, Joanna Brown, Carolanne Armstrong & Nest Home & Cafe from client-side. The dress is, of course, Miss Bush.
The impending outfit crisis will hopefully be averted by Hobbs & some Choos. The colour palette reflecting my current dreaming & scheming.
