It’s an exciting day here at Miss Bush – the latest issue of Brides magazine goes on sale today, which includes a feature about our boutique, containing images from our 2017 Lookbook! The feature includes a fabulous prize so make sure you get your hands on a copy of the magazine to find out how to enter.
Featuring a diverse mixture of our hand-picked wedding gowns, the Lookbook focuses on showcasing the ever-changing and constantly refreshed selection of dresses and designers available at Miss Bush, all set in the sumptuously styled setting of our Victorian Chapel.
We’ll be releasing the Lookbook on 31st October – look out for more sneak peeks over on Instagram. For now, we’re delighted to share the most wonderful behind the scenes photos from the brilliant Joanna Brown, which were shot on film throughout the day.
For the shoot we styled the chapel as a sumptuous B&B, complete with gorgeous boudoir on our mezzanine level, inspired by the number of brides who tell us they would love to move in and live at the chapel!
Filled with iconic design classics, a mix of mid-century modern and contemporary furniture, cheese-plants and a record player providing us with a brilliant soundtrack, the chapel had a very chic retro 70’s feel, which set the tone for the day and fit so well with the looks we created for the model.
Gayle from Bloomin’gayles provided us with stunning botanical installations, including a tropical leafy arch for the chapel entrance and a luscious living wall for the mezzanine balcony to provide privacy for our ‘bedroom.’
The atmosphere in the chapel was amazing, with a hugely talented team making sure the shoot was creative, unique and utterly stylish. With Carolanne Armstrong providing flawless make up looks and Dennis Macco from Macco Hair sculpting our model’s shoulder length bob into a myriad of different stylish creations, we were in good hands.
Each look was finished off with a selection of beautiful and unique pieces from fine jewellery brand Rock and Raw, including the iconic Ultimate Guardian Pendant, which is available to win via our feature in this month’s Brides Magazine.
Finally, our photographer Nick Tucker was on hand to capture the final images – the results are exactly what we wanted to achieve from the shoot; rich, stunning high-fashion images to inspire and delight our brides. We can’t wait to share the Lookbook with you at the end of October!
